The ministry focus of Here Am I ministry is:
- Rescue street children from the streets
- Feed the hungry and destitute kids
- Provide an education to Haiti's poorest
- Provide safety and shelter to the kids coming off the streets
One of the things that has captivated my heart more than anything else in the country of Haiti is the street children. These are often abused, abandoned children trying to get a few goudes so they can eat. They run in and out of busy traffic jumping on cars and begging for money. I started forming a relationship with these kids as I would see them everyday outside the doors of the church. I started feeding them, building relationships with them and teaching them about this man named Jesus who loves them with all his heart.
 These kids responded like you wouldn't believe. They started coming to Jesus, coming to church, etc. They had a desperate desire to get off the streets and go to school.
How You Can Help
$700 U.S. pays for their school tuition for the year this includes uniforms, books, book bags, school supplies etc. Of course there is an ongoing cost to feed and take care of each child.
